Welcome to Keyboarding 2 Class!
In this class we will study the progress of the history of the United States, beginning with an examination of the way that our government is organized and a close study of the Constitution, to the end of the Civil War and Reconstruction, on up to modern day.
We will explore the American culture and identity, events, people and ideas that shaped the nation we live in now, and I hope to help you learn the answer to the question, "Why does American History matter to me?"
In the space below you will find links to descriptions of each unit we will cover, important notices about course content that we will not have the time to cover, and links to project resources, general tools and resource links, and many more valuable things for my American History course.

The Year-Long Planner is a document I created to help me organize the class in broad strokes for the entire year. Feel free to look it over, but I want to emphasize that I created it for my personal planning use, so you may not find it user friendly, and it is very much a work-in-progress, so not everything we will do is on there yet, by a long shot. The document will also be full of links that will match up with the links you can find below.

Quarter 1Unit 0 is a mini-unit covering the first week of school for all of my classes. It is the same for every course, and its purpose is to be a tutorial for all of the students to help them orient themselves to me, my classes, my materials and my expectations.

WEEKLY PLANNERSWeekly Planners, like all of the documents you can access on this page, were made by me for my planning processes, and so are not meant to be strictly user-friendly. However, you might still find them useful to keep track of what your student will be doing on a week-by-week basis, so I have provided links below.
Also, each Weekly Planner has information for all classes that week. QUARTER 1:
