Welcome to the Student Portal! Here you can find a link to the Online Student Handbook, links to websites you will need on a daily basis as well as general resource links.
Below that you will find links to each of the class rotations, Even and Odd Years, where you can find classes like history, English and Bible. Simply select the button based off of the year you are attending or will be attending to get the full in-depth information regarding your classes.
Further below that you will find a link to the "Links Index" which is a page that has links and annotations for every other website that I reference throughout my site in alphabetical order, though it is probably easier to find the links you'll need here on the Student Portal Page or on the individual class pages.

Websites You Will Need & Use Daily

General/Other Student ResourcesMy Library Catalog - This link will take you to my online catalog for the classroom library. You can find out more about the classroom library in the online student handbook, HERE.
7-8 Student Profile - This link will take you to a blank 7-8th Grader profile sheet. One of our earliest assignments uses this sheet. Feel free to get a head start by making a copy for yourself and filling it out with as much detail as you can. 9-10 Student Profile - This is the 9-10th grader version of the 7-8 student profile sheet above. If you already have a student profile sheet from when you were a 7-8th grader, you can simply build off of that one. Online Weekly Goals - This is a blank example of the weekly goals sheet that we will use to track your reading and writing progress over the course of the school year. You will need a copy of this sheet, which I will provide for you at the start of the school year (do not make a copy for yourself!). |
A School Year begins in the fall and ends in the spring, so the ending year is the year I count for even or odd numbers. For example, the 2014-2015 School Year ends in the odd number "5" so it would go under the School Years ending in Odd Numbers tab and the School Year for 2015-2016 would go under the Even number tab because it ends in "6."
If you are a 9-10th Grader, you will be involved in creating the yearbook. Click the link above to go to the Yearbook Project page, which includes information on completing the project.

If you are an 8th Grader, Congratulations! You will be graduating this year, which means you will be helping to plan the graduation. You can find more information about graduation by clicking the link above.
